The virtual talk, titled "Best Practices for Supporting People with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Developmental Disabilities in the Workplace," was held on October 20, 2020 with featured speakers, Andrea Goodman, MA, M.Ed, LCSW and Ilana Shachat, MS from the Adaptations Job Program. The talk is part of the new Raising Disability Awareness Virtual Talk Series, featuring speakers from around the Mount Sinai Health System as well as the community, in honor of Disability Awareness Month in October and is sponsored by the Mount Sinai Office for Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) to educate, raise awareness and promote an inclusive and equitable health care environment for people with disabilities.
